Ralsten Hat Trick Carries St. Mark’s Over Harriton, 4-0

Newark, Del. — After being held scoreless through the first two periods, the St. Mark’s Spartans reeled off four rapid-fire goals in the third to open their 2018-19 Inter-County Scholastic Hockey League (ICSHL) season with a 4-0 win over new Liberty South Division rivals Harriton on Friday (Oct. 26) at the Patriot Ice Center.

Will Ralsten led the Spartans with a hat trick, assisted by Lance Ralsten and Sean Swain on his first two goals, while Graham Kline accounted for the other St. Mark’s tally. Defensively, St. Mark’s held the Rams to just seven shots on goal all game, and senior Billy Pierce was in net for the shutout.

Both teams will meet again Monday (Oct. 29) at the Skatium in Havertown, Pa. Game time is 8 p.m.; coverage on Delaware Hockey Night Radio will begin at 7:45 p.m.
