Newark, Del. — The Delaware Jr. Blue Hens Youth Travel Hockey Club is looking for a director of hockey to provide leadership in the area of player and coaching development, as well as non-parent head coaches to coach their upper-level (AA and/or A National) bantam (14U) and midget (16U and 18U) teams.
These individuals will be instrumental in leading the club to achieve its goal of developing competitive Tier 2 teams at the AA, A and B levels for all age groups and skill levels. These will be compensated part-time positions; compensation will be a combination of salary and bonus incentives.
The Delaware Jr. Blue Hens is a unique youth hockey organization that plays at the University of Delaware ice arena facilities. The facilities are world-class and provide a safe, secure and exceptionally-maintained venue for their teams. There is a very strong partnership between the University of Delaware, the University of Delaware hockey program and the Jr. Blue Hens. The Jr. Blue Hens derive many benefits from this highly-valued, one-of-a-kind relationship.The objective of the Jr. Blue Hens board of directors is to make their program the program of choice for their market. The individuals selected for these positions will be instrumental in helping the Jr. Blue Hens achieve this goal.
