DMA (7-0-0) remain undefeated through seven games this season, most recently beating Boyertown 11-1 on Monday (Jan. 15) in a shortened game as a result of the ICSHL mercy rule.  Junior Justin McGee accounted for five of the Seahawks goals, while senior centre Markus Cook recorded a hat trick.  Cook leads DMA with 20 goals so far this season, while McGee’s quintet brought his seasonal total to 15.

Salesianum (2-6-0) have toiled in the Prep Division thus far, suffering defeat in all five divisional games to date in their first season since joining.  Outside of ICSHL action, the Sallies were 2-2-0 in the Steve Malley Showcase in Laurel, Md., earning them third place in a field of five despite the absence of some key players, including goalie Graham Burke.  Fisher Sellers and Cam Bergeman, who share first-line duties with Ryan Bryson, lead the Sallies in scoring with six and four goals respectively.

Last Season:  The Sallies won the season series with the Seahawks in 2016-17, registering an 11-3 win over DMA on Nov. 28, 2016 and tying them 3-3 on Jan. 27, 2017.  Sallies captain Fisher Sellers accounted for four goals and an assist in two games against DMA last year, while Joey DeFilippis also accounted for a goal.  For the Seahawks, Markus Cook batted in two goals and had three helpers over the series, and Justin McGee contributed a goal and two assists.

Seahawks goalie Anthony Guerrieri stopped 29 of 32 shots faced in the 3-3 tie after splitting duties with Julia Emerich in defeat earlier.  Both goalies returned to the DMA lineup this season, while Sallies netminder Graham Burke is expected to get his first taste of the Delaware Military Academy team after a series of valiant efforts in defeat with his squad having moved to the tough Prep Division of the ICSHL.
